Getting to Hubbard’s Hills
Hubbard's Hills is located in Louth, Lincolnshire. There are two entrances to Hubbard's Hills - Crowtree Lane and from Hallington, Halfpenny Lane. Privately run paid for car parking is available at Crowtree Lane. Additional parking is also available at Halfpenny Lane, Hallington. Dogs are free to roam except when the signs indicate.
The Louth Nipper
VISITORS can now get to the Hills by bus! The Louth Nipper, the small bus
which serves the town, has a bus stop just west of the Grammar School on Crowtree Lane and also
stops at the Love Lane gates to Westgate Fields. It is a short but pretty walk to the Hills from there.
The bus has a flat rate charge of £1 or is free to bus pass holders and children.
Crowtree Lane Entrance
From the NORTH:
Head south on the A16 Louth By-Pass, signposted Boston. When you reach the Elkington Roundabout take the exit
signposted Louth Town Centre - A157/B1200. Turn right onto Love Lane. Turn right onto Crowtree Lane and carry on untill you reach the Car Park at the end of the road.
From the SOUTH:
Head north on the A16 Louth By-Pass, signposted Grimsby. When you reach the Elkington Roundabout take the exit
signposted Louth Town Centre - A157/B1200. Turn right onto Love Lane. Turn right onto Crowtree Lane and carry on untill
you reach the Car Park at the end of the road.
Halfpenny Lane (Hallington) Entrance
From the NORTH:
Head south on the A16 Louth By-Pass, signposted Boston. When you reach a T-junction turn left onto the A153 Horncastle
Road, signposted Louth Town Centre. Turn left onto Halfpenny Lane, signposted Hallington. The car park is on your right.
From the SOUTH:
Head north on the A16 Louth By-Pass, signposted Grimsby. When you reach a T-junction turn right onto the A153
Horncastle Road, signposted Louth Town Centre. Turn left onto Halfpenny Lane, signposted Hallington. The car park is on
your right.
